McLaren 600LT

The 600LT is the track-focused Long Tail version of McLaren's original entry-level Sport Series models. The 600LT Coupe was produced for the 2019 model year, while the 600LT Spider was produced for both 2019 and 2020. Powering the 600LT is a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 with 592 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox. It launches from zero to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 204 mph. The 600LT contains more aggressive styling cues over the standard 570S, such as a more extensive use of carbon fiber, a more prominent carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, lightweight titanium exhaust pipes located right behind the engine bay, new side sills, and a larger fixed rear wing. Its interior is mostly the same as that of the standard 570S, but lacks some creature comforts and driver assistance features that other performance vehicles at its price point have.

McLaren allocated a production run of 500 units each for the 600LT Coupe and Spider. Pricing for the McLaren 600LT when new started at around $240,000 for the Coupe and around $260,000 for the Spider. The 600LT’s value has gradually appreciated since its production run ended in 2020. Before seeing these four examples up close (three coupes and one roadster) at this past Exotics on Broadway in Monterey in August, I had previously seen two or three other 600LTs but couldn’t get photos of them. That changed when I attended Exotics on Broadway for the first time, and it was absolutely worth it. The fourth example below especially stood out to me with the Homer Simpson and donut graphics on it. Overall, the McLaren 600LT is a fantastic and amazing rare supercar. In terms of McLaren vehicles, the 600LT has been made more special than other "mainstream" McLarens after being given the Long Tail treatment.
