Audi E-Tron GT

The E-Tron GT is one of Audi's latest electric and performance vehicles. It was introduced for the 2022 model year and is offered in standard and RS versions. Powering the E-Tron GT are two electric motors producing a combined 522 horsepower and 472 lb-ft of torque in the standard model and 637 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque in the RS model. The launch from zero to 60 mph occurs in 3.6 seconds for the standard model and 2.9 seconds for the RS. Top speed is limited to 152 mph for the standard E-Tron GT and 156 mph for the RS E-Tron GT. Both versions use Quattro All-Wheel Drive and operate through a two-speed automatic gearbox. They also feature an 83.7-kWh lithium-ion battery, all-wheel steering, an adjustable air suspension, a complex cooling system, and wheel sizes between 19 and 21 inches. Both the standard and RS E-Tron GT have around 240 miles of range for each version, which is short of a few of their closest rivals such as the Tesla Model S and Lucid Air.

Inside, the E-Tron GT can be fitted in either leather or leather-free recycled materials. Other staples of the E-Tron GT's interior are a 10.1-inch center touchscreen and a similarly-sized digital gauge cluster. It also offers plenty of premium options including multi-color ambient interior lighting, a head-up display, and heated, cooled, and massaging front seats. Unlike other new Audi models, the E-Tron GT doesn't have as many touchscreen interfaces housing vehicle controls. Like several new electric vehicles, the E-Tron GT features front and rear trunks for added cargo space and practicality over most traditional internal-combustion vehicles. Pricing for the Audi E-Tron GT starts at $106,395 for the standard model and $145,395 for the RS. In all, the Audi E-Tron GT is a very cool and appealing electric and performance vehicle. I have seen a few E-Tron GTs in person but had to wait some time after first seeing them on the road before I could get photos of at least one, and it was well worth the wait. Although I have a soft spot for the E-Tron GT, I admire the Porsche Taycan and Mercedes-Benz EQS a bit more among similar luxury and performance EVs.
