Now that my Monterey Car Week content for this year is complete, it's time to return to local cars and coffee/car show content by getting caught up with a recap of all the car events I attended in the past two months. These consist of the last two of each of the monthly cars and coffees I normally attend every month along with two car shows I attended during the last full weekend of October. These last two shows were the Blood Cancer United fundraiser show on Saturday the 24th and this year's rendition of my local BMW club's Bimmers at the Park show on Sunday the 25th. While not on the level of Monterey Car Week, each of the car events I attended in September and October of this year went mostly as expected with vehicle turnout and selection but were great nonetheless. However, a few of these events featured a few surprising appearances of examples I had never seen in the flesh before, which are included here in this compilation.
As for cars that appeared at local automotive events I attended within the past two months that I was unable to take photos of and wished I had captured on camera, the two most notable and amazing ones were a Ferrari 296 Speciale and a McLaren 720S coupe. Both of these specific cars appeared at September's local BMW CCA Cars and Coffee that had an above-average turnout for this particular event. I did not see the 296 Speciale in person before it left early on, but I was made aware of its appearance there and hope to actually see it up close for the first time in the near future. As for the 720S, it passed through briefly and I waited until it parked before getting photos, but it never parked and disappeared before I could get my photos of it. Fortunately for me, I saw a similar example at the Blood Cancer United fundraiser show in late October, more specifically a 765LT Spider, and I was able to get a good look at and several photos of the latter to make up for missing out on this particular 720S.
This recap compilation showcases the coolest, most unusual, and my favorite cars I saw and photographed at the six automotive events I attended in September and October of this year, which has been narrowed down to 25 entries and listed primarily in chronological order.
