Galpin Ford GTR-1

The Galpin Ford GTR-1 was introduced at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance as their vision of a successor to the Ford GT, and it is such an exceptional automobile. For those of you not familiar with Galpin, they are the number one volume Ford dealer in the world. Galpin is based in  Southern California and also owns Aston Martin, Jaguar, Lotus, Honda, Lincoln, Mazda, Subaru, Volkswagen, and Volvo dealers. They also have a well-known tuning division called Galpin Auto Sports, which mainly specializes in Fords and has been featured on MTV's "Pimp My Ride" modifying the heck out of average people's cars. I have never been to any of Galpin's dealers or tuning division, but I've heard a lot of great things about them. From what I last heard, the GTR-1 is strictly a concept and the one featured here is the only one in existence. However, Galpin is planning a very limited production of the GTR-1, each priced at around $1.1 million. I believe it is powered by a naturally aspirated V8, which is placed right behind the seats. The Galpin GTR-1 is an amazing car and is one of those cars that I could stare at all day (a few other great examples would be the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren P1, Pagani Huayra, Koenigsegg Agera, Corvette C7 Stingray, Aston Martin Vanquish, Jaguar F-Type, and Mercedes-Benz S-Class coupe). If this was mass produced, the GTR-1 would definitely be a worthy Ford GT successor.
