1954 Plymouth Belmont

The one-off Plymouth Belmont concept was created for the 1954 Chicago Auto Show and New York Autorama Show. In more recent years, it has been displayed at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. Under the hood is a 3.9-liter V8 producing 241 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. Its body is made of fiberglass, just like some cars from the similar time period as this one. The Plymouth Belmont never made it to production, and as a result, the example shown above is the only one in existence. This crossed the auction block back in January and I'm guessing it sold for about $1 million. In my opinion, this car is amazing and had a lot of potential. It looks excellent and will continue to increase in value as time goes on like many one-off concepts.
