Pagani Huayra BC

Part 2 of the Pagani at Exotics on Broadway 2023 miniseries continues with the track-focused Huayra BC and Huayra Roadster BC. The fixed-roof Huayra BC made its debut in 2016 for the 2017 model year, while the Huayra Roadster BC was introduced in 2019. These versions of the Huayra were named after the late Benny Caiola, a friend of Pagani founder Horacio Pagani and the first-ever Pagani customer. The 6.0-liter AMG twin-turbo V12 in the Huayra has been improved to 754 horsepower in the BC and 791 horsepower and 774 pound-feet of torque in the Roadster BC. The Huayra BC launches from zero to 60 mph in the mid to low two-second range and carries a top speed in excess of 230 mph.

Notable distinctions of the Huayra BC compared to the base Huayra include a new front bumper, rear diffuser, and side skirts, a large fixed rear wing, and a titanium exhaust system. The BC also has a reduced weight over the base Huayra thanks to the former's use of a lighter and stronger form of carbon fiber known as 'carbon triax.' Every aspect of the Huayra BC and Huayra Roadster BC inside and out has such an unbelievable attention to detail, and the BC's add-ons are designed to optimize downforce and drag. The cabins of the Huayra BC and Huayra Roadster BC are more stripped down compared to those of the base Huayra and Huayra Roadster, utilizing more carbon fiber and alcantara trim over aluminum and titanium.

Production is limited to 20 units for the Huayra BC and 40 units for the Huayra Roadster BC, which lasted until 2019 and 2022 respectively. Both forms of the Huayra BC are currently worth at least $3-4 million. As for these specific versions of the Huayra, two BCs and three Roadster BCs were on display at this year's Exotics on Broadway in Monterey compared to one of each last year. As mentioned in the previous post, the Pagani Huayra is one of my top all-time favorite cars. With its increased performance, amazing design, and greater exclusivity, the BC makes the Huayra an even more remarkable supercar. Part 3, the final part of the Pagani at Exotics on Broadway 2023 miniseries, is coming up next, and you won't want to miss it.
