My most recent vacation occurred last week, which was a family trip to Disneyland. Although it was primarily my sister's idea to travel down there for most of last week and no specific plans surrounding car museums, shows, or showrooms were involved, it was still a nice, fun getaway. My favorite parts of Disneyland were Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, Cars Land, Autopia, Avengers Campus, a few display cars, and some other attractions I have previously experienced there before. I thought long and hard about whether to make this compilation about the few noteworthy display cars at Disneyland, the coolest and my favorite cars I spotted in Southern California on the way to and back from Disneyland, or both. I decided to center this compilation around the second of these three options, as some of the cars I spotted in Southern California on the way to and back from Disneyland are cooler and more impressive than the few noteworthy cars on display inside Disneyland. By the way, the noteworthy display vehicles I noticed inside Disneyland were somewhat obscure classics that not too many people are familiar with and an Avengers-themed truck that looked like it could be based on a Jeep Wrangler but I do not know much about.
As for the car spotting, I spotted several different cool enthusiast vehicles in LA and Orange Counties, but there were seven in particular that I not only was able to photograph, but stood out to me the most. The coolest car that I spotted and managed to snag a photo of during this So Cal trip by far was a purple 991-generation Porsche 911 GT3 RS. I was only able to get the one photo here because I noticed it late, another car had somewhat impeded the GT3 RS' view when it had passed me, and this car was speeding at least ten miles per hour over the speed limit and cutting up other vehicles in traffic around when I saw it on the 5 near Burbank. Luckily for me, I have seen several other similar GT3 RS examples up close before and took better photos of them in most of those instances. As for the most memorable spotting moment on this trip that I was not able to capture on camera, it was of a Lamborghini Urus right by the Disneyland bus entrance. Not only was it a late notice for me in that scenario, but my family and I were in a hurry to arrive to a dinner reservation planned for that night we first arrived in Anaheim, resulting in no photo evidence from me of that specific Urus. Fortunately, I have seen many other Lamborghini Urus examples in person and have taken photos of them before, so this one time missing out was not a big deal.
In regards to the other significant enthusiast vehicles I saw in So Cal last week that are not featured in this compilation, they were either similar to the ones featured here that I could not get photos of or not as cool as these cars that made the final cut for this compilation. This may not be much compared to many car-specific things I have been to and done before, but I am grateful to have spotted these cars throughout my latest vacation to Southern California. Hope I can travel out of town for car-related purposes before summer ends or sometime again in the near future!
