Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06 (2006-14)

The Corvette C6 Z06 may seem outdated to some of you, but it outperforms and is better than many variants of the Corvette in existence today. Open the hood and you will notice its 7.0-liter LS7 V8, which produces 505 horses and 470 foot-pounds of torque. It can launch from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds, onto a top speed of 198 mph. The most popular gearbox option for the Corvette C6 Z06 is a six-speed manual. It is offered in three trim levels: 1LZ, 2LZ, and 3LZ, which are distinguished by available features and minor differences in cost. An aspect of the Corvette C6 Z06 where some folks claim it doesn't shine is the interior. I don't care how the interior layout appears; overall performance and daily driveability are what matter most with this vehicle. A pre-owned C6 Z06 in excellent condition can be found for approximately the price of a new C7 Stingray, which starts in the $50k-60k range. The C6 Z06 has become one of my all-time favorite Vettes. It looks and sounds incredible, even though I have spotted quite a few of them on the road and the C6 ZR1 and C7 Z06 are more impressive.
