Porsche 911 Turbo/S 997 (2006-2013)
The previous-generation Porsche 911 Turbo/S is a magnificent car, even though it isn't as fast or refined as the current-gen 911 Turbo/S (991). As implied in its name, it is powered by a turbocharged flat-six, which has a completely different layout than a V6 or I6 for those who don't know, producing approximately 553 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. Power is distributed to all four wheels via a seven-speed PDK (dual-clutch). A used 997-gen 911 Turbo in excellent condition normally goes for around the same price as a brand-new base 911, which starts at $85,295. Although the 991-gen Porsche 911 Turbo/S is better in pretty much every respect, the type 997 911 Turbo/S looks great, goes very swiftly, and makes an outstanding daily driver.
