Mercedes-Maybach S600 (2015-)

Some of you may recall the time this was first displayed at the L.A. Auto Show back in November. It is the first vehicle with the Maybach name after the brand went under in 2013. Under the hood of this beast is a 6.0L twin-turbo V12 producing 523 horses and 612 ft-lbs. of torque. It can hit 60 mph from a standstill in 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed limited to 130 mph, even though the vehicle weighs over two tons and was never meant for a track. Many people would agree that in the Mercedes-Maybach S600, the backseat is where it's at. It rides very smoothly, the cabin is extremely quiet, and the reclining seats are very comfy. The base price for the Mercedes-Maybach S600 is $190,275, which is at least $10k less than Rolls-Royce and Bentley's closest competitors. I feel that this car is a huge improvement over its predecessor. The Mercedes-Maybach S600 looks gorgeous inside and out and bests its competition. However, If I had to choose between the Maybach S600 and the S65 AMG, I'd go with the latter because the S65 is faster, more powerful, and just as luxurious.
