1970 Plymouth Hemi AAR 'Cuda

The Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda AAR was created to compete in SCAA road racing and with the likes
of the Camaro, Firebird, and Mustang. Powered by a 340 cu 6 barrel V8, the AAR Hemi 'Cuda produces 290 horses and 335 foot-pounds of torque, which were significant numbers at the time. It can launch from 0 to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds. In this case, AAR stands for "All American Racer." This version stands out from a regular Hemi 'Cuda with a black side stripe known as a strobe stripe, a satin black fiberglass hood with a unique scoop, a side exhaust, and front and rear spoilers. The AAR Hemi 'Cuda was in production only for the 1970 model year, and less than 3000 are known to exist. The example in black is featured in the movie "Furious 7" and contains a supercharged LS3 V8 pushing north of 600 horsepower. I'm not a Mopar guy but the Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda is a great muscle car. I'm not certain whether this is better than its Dodge Challenger cousin or not, however.
