Chevy Corvette C6 coupe front (2005-2013)

  • 6.0L LS2 V8, 6.2L LS3 V8
  • 400-430 hp
  • 400-428 lb-ft
  • 6-spd auto, 6-spd man.
  • 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds
Once again, the C6 is the best generation of Corvette, especially the ZR1. I took the first picture back in April, while I took the second picture sometime in May.

Mercedes-Benz SL550 R230 rear (2009-2012)

This example is very nice, especially in black. For the 2009 model year, the Mercedes-Benz SL was given a facelift. It is still an excellent car.

1950's Dodge Wayfarer coupe

I saw this back in April and haven't seen it ever since. I took the second one approximately one week later at the Tower District Car Show. This example has a diesel engine under the hood and I'm not sure how much power it produces. It appears to be repainted, lowered, and given an interior refresh. I think it's very nice.

Porsche 911 Carrera 4S 996 hardtop (1998-2005)

  • 3.6L 6-cyl.
  • 296 bhp
  • RWD
  • 5-spd auto, 6-spd man.
  • 0-62 mph in 5.0 seconds
  • Top speed: 174 mph
The first picture was taken in April, while the second picture was taken sometime last year. This example is nice, although I'd rather have a coupe in Turbo or GT3 form.

Rolls-Royce Ghost (2010-)

  • 6.6L turbo V12
  • 7-spd auto
  • RWD
  • 563 hp
  • 575 lb-ft of torque
  • 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds
  • MSRP: $260,750
I love Rolls-Royce, and I am definitely a fan of the Ghost. It is very luxurious and powerful. Also, I would choose the Phantom over the Ghost if I had the choice. One more important point, I can't get pictures of every interesting car I see. I will share with you the good pictures I have taken this year on here.

Cadillac CTS-V coupe rear (2011-)

  • 6.2L supercharged V8
  • 6-spd man.
  • RWD
  • 556 hp
  • 551 lb-ft of torque
  • 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds
  • MSRP: $64,515-$74,770
The current-generation Cadillac CTS-V is one of my favorite cars. It's fast, luxurious, and good-looking. Also, CTS-V coupe > sedan > wagon. This made it on Yahoo! Autos' Top 5 Best Sleepers You Can Buy list. I took the first picture in early April, while I took the second picture in July.

Mercedes-Benz SL R230 side (2002-2008)

  • 5.0L V8
  • 308 hp
  • 5-spd auto
  • 0-60 mph in 6.0 seconds
  • Top speed (electronically limited): 155 mph
  • RWD
I like the R230 Mercedes-Benz SL. It looks great and drives excellently. The current generation (R231) and the original 300SL Gullwing are still my favorite SLs, though.

BMW M3 E46 front seven-eighths

  • 3.2L I6
  • 333 hp
  • 262 lb-ft of torque
  • 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.8 seconds
  • Top speed: 155 mph (electronically limited)
  • 6-spd man.
  • RWD
Even though I am a Mercedes-Benz guy, I have always liked M3s. They're fun to drive and are great performance machines. Yesterday was the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. One of the cars that debuted there was the BMW M4 concept, which previews the successor of the two-door M3. For those of you that aren't fans of BMW, other cars that debuted at Pebble Beach included the Cadillac Elmiraj concept, Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Jean-Pierre Wimille Edition, Galpin Auto Sports Ford GTR1, Spyker B6 Venator Spyder, and the Lincoln MKZ & MKC concept Black Label edition. I hoped to go to this year's event, but I was unable to go mainly because I couldn't afford tickets. I would like to go to the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance at least once in my lifetime. This show displays some of the rarest, best, and most beautiful cars on the planet.

1964 Chevy Impala SS hardtop

  • 6.7L V8
  • 340-425 hp
  • 3-spd man., 4-spd man.

I am definitely a fan of classic Impalas, especially this one. Also, I would choose a different color for my own. For some reason I don't like my cars to be the color white.

Subaru Impreza WRX sdn. (2011-)

  • 2.5L H4
  • 5-spd man.
  • AWD
  • 265 hp
  • 244 lb-ft of torque
  • MSRP: $25,795-$29,295
The WRX is a great car and I prefer it over the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo any day of the week. The main differences between this and the STI are that the STI has a larger rear wing, is more powerful, and pricier than the base WRX. It is due for a redesign in about one to two years' time. Also, I'd choose the WRX in sedan form rather than the hatchback.

Jeep Grand Wagoneer (1984-1991)

The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is a good car and is one of the more iconic Jeeps, along with the Cherokee and Wrangler. It also had one of the longest production runs of any car ever made.

2013 Ford Mustang GT conv.

  • 5.0L V8
  • 6-spd man.
  • RWD
  • 402-420 hp
  • 377-390 lb-ft of torque
  • 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds
  • MSRP: $35,300-$39,300
This was on display in front of  the Costco nearest my house the day after I came back from my spring break trip. The last time I went to Costco there was a Lexus RX 350 and a Volvo XC60 on display. I have always been a fan of the Mustang and I 'd rather have it in coupe form. The best colors for a mustang are red, blue, and black. My first choice of Mustang would be the Shelby GT500. Also, the first 1,000 units of the next-gen Mustang will be marked as 2014.5 50th anniversary editions.

Porsche 911 Turbo 997 (2007-2013)

  • 3.6L twin-turbo V6
  • 493 hp
  • 480 lb-ft of torque
  • 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds
  • Top speed: 194 mph
  • 6-spd man., 7-spd PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung, dual-clutch)
I saw this the day after I came back from my spring break trip. The 911 Turbo is a wonderful car and one of the best versions of the 911. The other excellent versions of the 911 are the GT3 RS and GT2 RS. They are all a blast to drive and can go very fast.

Ford Falcon conv. (1960-1963)

This was on Highway 99 just south of Bakersfield, home of the Famoso dragstrip and Kevin Harvick, NASCAR driver. The 1960-63 Falcon and the 1964-65 Falcon are the best Ford Falcons available in the U.S. In Australia, the Ford Falcon is still being made and now is in the form of a sedan and ute. It is relatively large, RWD, has a large V8 engine, and produces 390 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. I feel that they need to bring the Aussie Ford Falcon stateside; it would be popular over here. Unfortunately, Ford decided not to produce a left-hand drive version and export it here. Also, Ford plans on shutting down local manufacturing operations in Australia in 2016, which means the Australian Ford Falcon will be headed to the chopping block that year and Ford will be known as an import brand in Australia from 2016 onwards. Pictures of the Aussie Ford Falcon are shown below. P.S. I have never been out of the continental United States, so these pictures below obviously came off the Internet.

Corvette C6 conv. rear three-quarters (2005-2013)

I saw this on the I-5 in the Grapevine mountains north of Los Angeles. Once again, I love Corvettes and the C6 is the best generation of Corvette so far (I have not seen the C7 in person yet). I prefer it in coupe form but I would be fine with a convertible. Also, C6 > C7 > C2 > C1 > C5 > C3 > C4.

Ford Mustang rear seven-eighths (2005-09)

This was on the I-5 just north of Los Angeles. It looks nice and appears to be an upgraded base V6.

Ford F-150 SVT Raptor crew cab (2012-)

  • 6.2L V8
  • 6-spd auto
  • RWD
  • 411 hp
  • 434 lb-ft of torque
  • MSRP: $43,340
Even though I like most Chevrolets better than most Fords, the Ford F-150 Raptor is the best truck on the market today. Period. It is powerful, reliable, practical, and fun to drive. Also, in the full-size truck segment, Ford F-150 > Chevy Silverado > GMC Sierra > Ram 1500 > Honda Ridgeline > Toyota Tundra > Nissan Titan.

Volvo 122 S (1956-70)

  • a.k.a. Volvo Amazon in other markets
  • 4-spd man., 3-spd auto
  • One of the strongest-built mass-produced vehicles ever built
This was in the Silver Lake area Los Angeles. It appears to be in mint condition and has a four-banger under the hood. The 122 S is rare nowadays. Some people in Sweden upgrade these (i.e. place a V8 engine under the hood) and take them drifting.

Porsche 911 Carrera 930 (1975-1989)

  • 3.0L & 3.3L I6
  • RWD
  • 5-spd man.
  • 260-330 hp
  • 0-60 mph in 5.2-4.6 seconds
  • Top speed: 153-173 mph
Once again, the Porsche 911 is a great car. The best generations of the 911 are the original (901) and the current generation (991). The first two were in Los Angeles, specifically Koreatown. The last two I saw a few blocks away from my house.

Maserati GranTurismo Cabriolet front seven-eighths (2010-)

  • 4.7L V8
  • 6-spd auto
  • RWD
  • 433 hp
  • 361 lb-ft of torque
  • 0-60 mph in 5.2 seconds
  • Top speed: 176 mph
  • Known as GranCabrio in overseas markets
  • MSRP: $137,300
The Maserati GranTurismo is a great car and I would always choose the coupe over the convertible. In general, coupes are more powerful and cheaper than convertibles. Also, I don't always like too much wind when I'm driving.

Aston Martin Rapide (2010-2013)

  • 5.9L V12
  • 470 bhp
  • 443 lb-ft of torque
  • 6-spd auto
  • RWD
  • 0-60 mph in 5 seconds
  • Top speed: 188.5 mph
  • MSRP: $207,895-$226,850
The Aston Martin Rapide is a nice car, but it isn't as good as other Astons (i.e. DB5, One-77, Vanquish, Vantage) in my opinion.

Tesla Model S rear seven-eighths

Once again, the Tesla Model S is a very cool car. It can go from 0-60 in four seconds, 265 miles on a single charge, has an all-glass panoramic roof, a 17-inch touchscreen, and can seat five adults and two children (the child seats are in the very back). Also, Tesla Model S > Fisker Karma any day of the week.

1970 Dodge Challenger R/T

  • 383 cu V8
  • 335 bhp
  • 3-spd man.
  • RWD
This Challenger looks excellent and is an excellent car overall.

1960's Chrysler Imperial?

This may be surprising to you, but I'm not exactly sure what this is. My first guess was a 1960's Chrysler Imperial, but I could be wrong. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with every car produced years before I was born. If you have any other ideas about what this might be, please let me know in the comments section below.

Maserati Quattroporte front seven-eighths (2004-2012)

  • 4.2L V8
  • 395 hp
  • 339 lb-ft of torque
  • 6-spd auto
  • 0-62 mph in 5.6 seconds
  • Top speed: 167 mph
I saw this in Los Angeles during my trip back in late March (It will be a long time before I am up to date with this). The Maserati Quattroporte is a nice car. I have not seen the new 2014 model in person yet, if you're curious.

Hummer H1 (1992-2006)

  • 6.2L Diesel V8, 6.5L Diesel V8, 5.7L V8, 6.5L turbo-diesel V8, 6.6L turbo-diesel V8
  • 3-spd auto, 4-spd auto, 5-spd auto, 6-spd auto
  • Has inboard brakes & portal gears for greater ground clearance
  • Magnesium-aluminum alloy or rubber inserts optional
I am a fan of the Hummer H1 and feel that this is the only true Hummer.

Dodge Dart conv. (1964-65)

Most importantly, this example appears to be all original and unrestored. It probably sat there for years collecting dirt. Original Dodge Dart convertibles are also difficult to find.

Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG (2008-2011)

  • 6.2L V8
  • Has the quickest, most responsive steering of any Mercedes-Benz to date
  • RWD
  • 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds
The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is one of my favorite cars and I would take it and/or the Cadillac ATS over the competition (Audi S4, BMW M3, Volvo S60 Polestar) any day of the week. For the 2012 model year, the C63 was given a facelift and a power boost.
