I have returned to the most well-known exotic car hotspot of San Jose, also known as Santana Row, for the first time in over a year for my latest round of car spotting. This was following the Sharks-Flyers game Saturday afternoon, and I was expecting to see some gems and potentially a rare supercar or exotic vehicle I had never seen in person before, and there were definitely some gems that I stumbled upon that evening. In addition, while the Porsche Now Pop-up Store that I saw and visited at Santana Row last year is no longer there, there is a relatively new Rivian store that was added there that I got to visit for the first time. While it may have been relatively small, the San Jose Rivian store at Santana Row had an R1S and R1T on display along with some merch and interactive catalogs, and it was certainly worth visiting. I visited the Tesla store as well, and I was not as impressed with what it had to offer compared to the Rivian store and some cars I spotted that were parked at and driving through Santana Row.
I walked around this upscale retail/apartment complex for about two hours, and featured in this compilation are the coolest and most unusual cars I saw and photographed at Santana Row during the two hours I was there Saturday evening. My winner from that evening would have to be the black Lamborghini Huracan listed near the top of this compilation, followed by the other Lamborghini Huracan example and one McLaren I saw there as well. It may look completely bone stock at first glance, but I happened to notice a Batman logo on the black Huracan's fuel door, which is definitely a nice touch. The McLaren GT that I saw pass through Santana Row may not be the best-looking, but it is certainly a unique and interesting spec. Some elements of the DeLorean parked at Santana Row came period correct from the 80s, most notably a hoverboard inside the vehicle and the way its owner was dressed. The classic Mini Cooper Paul Smith Edition may not be the most impressive car in my eyes, but it definitely looks cool and belongs in an art museum. Lastly, the coolest car I saw pass through Santana Row Saturday evening that I was unable to get photos of was a dark blue Porsche 718 Cayman GT4, but since I have seen my fair share of those in person and it was not the coolest car I spotted that evening, being unable to capture that particular Porsche on camera was not a big deal to me. Overall, my latest visit to Santana Row was a great one, and I hope to make car spotting there at least a yearly thing for me moving forward. Stay tuned for more car show content coming soon.
