Ferrari F8

The F8 is Ferrari's current rendition of its mid-engine V8 supercar and an updated version of the 488. It first made its debut for the 2020 model year and features a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 with 710 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque sending power to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic. It hits 60 mph from a standstill in 2.8 seconds and is capable of a top speed of 211 mph. From the exterior, the biggest differences that separate the F8 from its predecessors, the 458 and 488, are its front- and rear-end styling. Its interior is like that of a typical Ferrari, which is lined in leather with contrasting stitching and carbon fiber trim and carries a performance theme to it. Although it doesn't have much cargo space, its cabin is rather spacious for the driver and passenger. Standard features on the F8 include a six-speaker audio system, two LCD monitors, and integrated navigation with voice activation. A 7-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay are available as options on the F8.

Pricing for the Ferrari F8 starts at $283,950 for the Tributo and $306,450 for the Spider. The first three examples at this past Exotics on Broadway in August were the first F8s I have ever seen up close, while the yellow F8 Spider below was on display at my local Cars and Coffee meet more recently in November. Overall, the Ferrari F8 is a great supercar that optimizes nearly everything that makes the mid-engine V8 Prancing Horse so amazing.
