Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster

The Mercedes-AMG GT C is the third model in the AMG GT series, slotting in between the GT S and GT R. Like several new AMG models, the GT C is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, but with 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque. This specific model goes from 0 to 60 mph in the mid three-second range. All AMG GT models are equipped with a seven-speed dual-clutch. A set of unique five-spoke alloys, distinct badging, and rear air inlets set the AMG GT C apart from the base GT and GT S aesthetically. The top opens and closes in 11 seconds at speeds of up to 31 mph. A host of driver aids are included, such as Collision Prevention Assist Plus, Attention Assist, a backup camera, Parktronic, blind spot monitoring, and lane keep assist. Pricing for the AMG GT C roadster starts at $157,000. It is a brilliant vehicle and one of the best sports cars currently on sale. This can be said for the entire AMG GT range, not just the GT C. The engineering put into the Mercedes-AMG flagship sports car is difficult to beat, from its design to its performance to its exhaust note.

Here are a few other AMG GT models I spotted when I traveled to London last summer:

Best of Car Shows 2017 Part 1

This may sound weird, but I didn't attend any car shows from January to June of 2017. To make up for that, I visited a few dealerships during that time period. Best of Car Shows 2017 Part 1 features the best vehicles on display at the dealerships I visited, even though this doesn't qualify as an actual car show. Anyone can visit car dealers any day of the week during the dealers' normal business hours, thus explaining why a showroom visit doesn't qualify as either a car show or car spotting. Stick around for Part 2 as I bring you photos of the best vehicles from legit car shows I attended last year. You're welcome.
