Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster

The Mercedes-AMG GT C is the third model in the AMG GT series, slotting in between the GT S and GT R. Like several new AMG models, the GT C is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, but with 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque. This specific model goes from 0 to 60 mph in the mid three-second range. All AMG GT models are equipped with a seven-speed dual-clutch. A set of unique five-spoke alloys, distinct badging, and rear air inlets set the AMG GT C apart from the base GT and GT S aesthetically. The top opens and closes in 11 seconds at speeds of up to 31 mph. A host of driver aids are included, such as Collision Prevention Assist Plus, Attention Assist, a backup camera, Parktronic, blind spot monitoring, and lane keep assist. Pricing for the AMG GT C roadster starts at $157,000. It is a brilliant vehicle and one of the best sports cars currently on sale. This can be said for the entire AMG GT range, not just the GT C. The engineering put into the Mercedes-AMG flagship sports car is difficult to beat, from its design to its performance to its exhaust note.

Here are a few other AMG GT models I spotted when I traveled to London last summer:
