2013 Los Angeles Auto Show: Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo Concept
This concept was designed specifically for the Gran Turismo 6 racing game on PlayStation 4, which I hope to be getting a PS4 and Gran Turismo 6 very soon. It looks awesome and is a very cool concept car overall. It is powered by an AMG twin-turbo V8 producing 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. It weighs in at 3,053 lbs. partly because of its aluminum space frame. It has a few styling traits from the SLS AMG GT, such as gullwing doors, a long hood, and a short rear end, but with a major design twist. The AMG Vision GT features AMG ceramic high-performance brakes and an eight-pipe exhaust system. Other than this concept, the Vision Gran Turismo will remain in virtual reality and not be green-lit for production.
2013 Los Angeles Auto Show: Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG
On Saturday, I traveled to L.A. for the day for the L.A. Auto Show. I had a blast looking at all the cool cars on display there. Let me begin with what Mercedes-Benz, my favorite car brand (if I had to choose), unveiled there. First is the range-topping S65 AMG. It has a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 that produces 621 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque. 0-62 mph happens in 4.3 seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph, 220 mph if the limiter is removed. The S65 features weight-saving technology such as a part carbon-fiber hood, lithium-ion battery, 20-inch lightweight alloys, and optional carbon-ceramic brakes. Inside, unique features include sport seats, a bespoke steering wheel, a new head-up display and touchpad, diamond-quilted nappa leather upholstery and an IWC Schaffhausen clock placed in the dashboard. Standard features consist of an AMG-tuned variant of the S-Class' Magic Body Control suspension system and Road Surface Scan that examines the road ahead and automatically tweaks the suspension according to upcoming road conditions. Overall, this is an exceptional car and I would choose this (and maybe the Rolls-Royce Phantom) over any luxury sedan on the market today. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been THE benchmark luxury sedan for many years. The S65 will hit U.S. showrooms mid-way through next year. Pictured below is the 2014 S550. The first two were from the L.A. Auto Show while the rest of them were taken earlier this month.

Chevy Corvette C2 Stingray (1963-67)
I love the C2 Stingray. In my opinion, it is the best-looking Vette ever made. I t has a V8 that produces around 400 horsepower. The C2 Stingray is also pretty fast. Overall, it is a magnificent car. My favorite in this set would be the red one in the middle.

Chevy Corvette C1 (1956-62)
If you didn't already know, I am a huge Corvette fan. The C1 is an excellent car overall. It's comfy, fast, and good-looking. I personally don't think the C1 is the best generation of Corvette, though. I also do not have a favorite in this particular set.
1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 replica
This is pretty cool although it would be cooler if it was the actual thing, not a replica. As you can tell, it has a Cobra engine under the hood that makes a decent amount of power. Despite it being a replica, this is a very nice car.
1964-1968 Ford Mustang coupe
I love classic Mustangs. They look nice, have a decent power output, drive very well, and are a bargain compared to other classic cars. These are actually quite common on the roads here. My favorite in this set would have to be the middle one in red. More pictures of classic Mustangs coming soon.

Mid 1960's Chevy Impala SS wagon
This is an awesome car, even though it may not have the best paint job or be the best body style. I notice that there are Corvette taillights on the rear bumper of this Impala wagon and it is powered by a 572 cu big-block V8. It more than likely has RWD and a manual transmission. It is also quite practical compared to other muscle cars.
1971-73 Ford Mustang
The two middle photos were taken at the Rods in the Bluff May Meet while the last one was taken in late August. This generation of Mustang is pretty good, although the first, second, and current generations are better. It has a large V8 under the hood, RWD, and a manual transmission. My favorite in this set would have to be the gold one in the middle.
Mercuy Coupe (1950's)
This Mercury Coupe is very nice and drives very well. In my opinion, this is the second best Mercury ever made, behind the Cougar Eliminator. Other Mercurys were not as good as the two mentioned in the previous statement. Most of them were unnecessary rebadged Fords that used cheap materials, look vey bland, and don't go very fast.
