Best of My Local Porsche Showroom (2/14/26)

Following the latest BMW CCA Cars and Coffee on Saturday, I drove directly to my local Porsche showroom for my first vehicle showroom visit of 2026. The main reason for this was due to the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta for sale there, which was showcased more in the previous post. I knew it would be there and I was thankful to have seen it before it eventually disappears from the showroom. As for this compilation, it is primarily focused on what the rest of the Porsche showroom had to offer and on display when I was there on Saturday. Besides the F12 Berlinetta, my latest local Porsche dealer visit featured a variety of different new and recent Porsche models. Most notably, several standard 911 Carreras and 911 Carrera GTS' comprised the majority of the sports cars featured there. Out of all the new and slightly used Porsche models at my local dealership, there were five examples that stood out above the rest: a 911 GT3 RS, a 911 Turbo S and Turbo 50, and two 911 GT3s. Only one of these five is definitely still for sale, which is one of the 911 GT3 examples. Two of them were recently sold, and the Turbo 50 is purely for display. As for the GT3 RS, it was not the example I was expecting to see at my local dealership, and I am not entirely sure if it is actually for sale or just a reserved custom allocation, but it certainly had an interesting spec. Per usual, the coolest and my favorite cars I saw for sale and on display during my most recent visit to my local Porsche showroom are pictured here and listed in no particular order. Enjoy and stay tuned for content from my second vehicle showroom visit of the year coming up in the next two posts.

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta (2013-17)

The F12 was Ferrari's front-engine V12 grand-touring coupe for most of the 2010s. It was introduced for the 2013 model year as the replacement for the 599 in Ferrari's lineup and is powered by a naturally-aspirated 6.3-liter V12 with 731 horsepower and 509 pound-feet of torque. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic is the sole transmission option for the F12 Berlinetta, which sends power to the rear wheels. It launches from zero to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and can accomplish a top speed of 211 mph. Standard mechanical features on the F12 Berlinetta include an adaptive suspension, limited-slip differential, carbon ceramic brakes with red calipers, a front axle lift system, and a rear liftgate instead of a traditional trunk lid. Inside, the F12's interior is swathed in mostly leather and some carbon fiber and aluminum trim. It also contains an analog tachometer with two configurable digital displays beside it and a decent amount of cargo space for a two-seat supercar.

Production for the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta concluded in 2017 and was succeeded by the 812 Superfast for 2018. The example pictured in this post is a 2014 model year and is currently for sale at my local Porsche dealer priced at around $275,000. This particular Ferrari was my main motivation for my first vehicle showroom visit of the year, and before Saturday, it had been over a year since I had last seen an F12 Berlinetta up close. In addition, it is quite rare for an exotic car like this one to go up for sale in my local area, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to check this F12 Berlinetta out before it potentially gets sold and is no longer on display inside my local Porsche showroom. Overall, the F12 Berlinetta is a great front-engine V12 supercar and one of the best and my favorite modern Ferraris. Watch this space for more recent vehicle showroom content coming up in the next few posts.
