Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170

The Demon 170 is one of the ultimate final editions of the Dodge Challenger. Produced for only the 2023 model year as one of the Challenger's Last Call models, it is powered by the Hellcat's 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with 900 horsepower and 810 pound-feet of torque on conventional gas, and up to a whopping 1,025 horsepower and 925 pound-feet of torque on E85 ethanol. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TorqueFlite automatic gearbox with a manual mode. The Challenger Demon 170 can launch from zero to 60 mph in under two seconds and achieve a sub nine-second quarter mile time according to Dodge. The most noticeable exterior styling cues that distinguish the Demon 170 from other versions of the Challenger consist of specific badging throughout the vehicle, flared rear fenders, larger and wider drag radial tires, a unique satin black rear spoiler, and a large satin black air intake on the hood. The 170 in its name is for the alcohol proof of the E85 ethanol that this vehicle runs on. Like the Challenger SRT Demon and Super Stock, the Demon 170 comes standard with a single seat, while a front passenger seat and rear seats are optional.

Pricing for the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 started at just under $97,000 when new. The specific example pictured in this post is currently for sale at my local Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram dealer for a mere $236,536. This more has to do with options and dealer markup, but I think it is certainly overpriced for a modern Dodge Challenger. In fact, I think the final edition highest-performing Dodge Challengers are best when offered closer to $100k than what this one is going for. Besides my gripes against how much dealers tend to charge for Last Call Dodge Challengers, I happened to see this one on display next door and on the same lot as the obscure supercar display inside the Infiniti showroom that was featured in the previous post. While it is not as cool to me as those three supercars on display inside the Infiniti showroom next door, this particular Challenger is one of the most insane and exclusive muscle cars ever created, and I am glad I was able to see, photograph, and feature the unbelievable Demon 170 here as well.

Supercars of My Local Infiniti Showroom

My latest car showroom visit consisted of a hidden supercar gem in my hometown. I heard about this hidden gem through a few friends, and it is not something that anyone would expect to see or stumble on initially. These three supercars were on display at my local Infiniti dealer out of all places, and while they are not for sale and just there for display, they belong to the dealership's owner. I have seen similar examples of these three rare supercars in person before and knew for at least a year that this obscure supercar display existed since I first saw footage of them online from a few fellow automotive photographers. However, I had not seen these specific examples in person until recently, and I was finally able to check these supercars out up close before they could potentially leave that showroom. These supercars on display at my local Infiniti retailer consisted of a Ferrari 488 Pista, Ford GT, and Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, all three of which are equally amazing and extraordinary. Overall, I am grateful that I was informed about this lesser-known local supercar display, and seeing it for myself was definitely worth it. Best of BMW CCA Cars & Coffee (October 2025)

Another monthly local cars & coffee is complete, that being the October 2025 edition of the BMW CCA Cars & Coffee. This month's meet that took place last Saturday morning had a smaller turnout than the past few months, likely due to other car shows and events taking place locally and out of town that day and weekend. The field this month was similar to previous BMW CCA Cars & Coffees, consisting of 90 percent BMWs, some Japanese tuners, a few Porsches and other European imports, and a few other enthusiast cars. While it may not have had as much to offer as other previous cars and coffees I have been to, this latest one still offered a decent selection of cars on display and some others that made brief appearances as well. Featured here are my top ten favorite cars in no particular order that I saw at the most recent local BMW CCA Cars & Coffee. In addition, I saw three other cars that made brief appearances at this cars and coffee that I would have included here as well, specifically a previous-generation Aston Martin Vantage, a previous F90-generation BMW M5 Competition, and a 991.2-generation Porsche 911 Carrera, but I only saw those three cars for a second or two before they disappeared, resulting in me being unable to get photos of them. Since I have seen several examples of those three cars and taken photos of them before, being unable to get photos of them that time was not a big deal to me.
