Porsche 718 Cayman GT4

The 718 Cayman GT4 is the track-focused halo model in Porsche's mid-engine entry-level sports car range. Unlike the 718 Cayman models below it, the GT4 retains the naturally aspirated flat-six from its predecessor, except it has been upgraded to 4.0 liters, 414 horsepower, and 309 lb-ft of torque. It launches from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and is capable of a top speed of 188 mph. The 718 Cayman GT4 is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch. As you would expect with a vehicle like the 718 Cayman GT4, it is more focused on performance improvements than the addition of premium or driver assistance features. Still, the 718 Cayman GT4 has a fair amount of standard features that make it worthy of being a daily driver. It carries a starting price of just over $100k. In addition, Porsche offers a track-only version of this car known as the 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, the entry-level model in its wide array of racing vehicles. Porsche is rumored to be developing a Cayman GT4 RS, but we'll have to wait and see if and when it gets released. Overall, the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 is an incredible sports car and great all-around vehicle. It is also a favorite among many in the Porsche and car enthusiast communities. However, I recommend the 911 GT3, GT3 RS, Turbo/S, and GT2 RS if you want to get more out of a Porsche than what the 718 Cayman GT4 has to offer.
