McLaren 570GT

The 570GT is the latest and most luxurious model of McLaren's Sports Series. Like its sportier counterpart, the 570S, the 570GT is powered by the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 found in all McLaren road vehicles except the F1 producing 562 horsepower and 443 foot-pounds of torque. It can go from 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 204 mph. The 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch. One noticeable difference between 570GT and the 570S is that the former contains a glass hatch that opens away from the curb while the latter contains flying buttresses and a tinier rear window. Also, the GT isn't as quick as the S and weighs 121 pounds heavier. However, compared to the 570S, the 570GT contains a quieter cabin and a smoother ride quality. Pricing for the McLaren 570GT starts at $201,450. Despite being part of McLaren's entry-level model series, the 570GT is an amazing, beautiful car that has taken a major step ahead of its closest competitors, such as the Porsche 911, Audi R8, Jaguar F-Type, and Mercedes-AMG GT. I guarantee that almost all of those investing in the 570GT are new to the McLaren brand. I would have a difficult time determining whether the 570GT or 570S is the superior model of the Sports Series and which one I would purchase if I was in the market for one; both vehicles are so good.

In other words, in select markets, McLaren offers a more tame version of the 570S called the 540C. The 540C is not quite as cool as either of the 570 models since the former underperforms compared to the latter.
