Saleen S7

The Saleen S7, built from 2000-2004 and the twin-turbo version from 2005-2009, is one of the best American cars of all time. Under the hood is a 7.0-liter V8 sourced from Ford, which is placed in the middle of the car. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual. Also, the S7 is extremely fast. When the S7 was new, its starting price was around $1 million. I'm not sure if the one featured here is naturally aspirated or twin-turbocharged. Whatever the case may be, this car is awesome and there should be a successor in the pipeline very soon, if not already.

Ferrari 458 Italia

Like the F12, the 458 is one of the best volume Ferraris ever produced. Implied in its name, it has a 4.5-liter V8 just right behind the seats making 570 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. 0-60 mph is accomplished in 3.3 seconds and its top speed is 203 mph. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic gearbox. In my opinion, the 458 Italia is one of the better-looking Ferraris. There is also a more potent version called the 458 Speciale that has been on sale for some time already. The Speciale has a more aerodynamic front and rear end along with 605 horsepower. Also, the 458 Italia's successor will be the next in line of turbocharged Ferraris in the near future. In other words, the Ferrari 458 Italia is a great car, but I would consider the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Lamborghini Huracan (and Gallardo), or the McLaren 12C/650S before getting this. All of the examples in this compilation are really nice except I am not a fan of the rims on the first one (in white) and the second one (in yellow).

Rolls-Royce Phantom

I think the Rolls-Royce Phantom is one of the best luxury sedans on the market today. It looks excellent and has all the luxury features you would ever want in a car. It also has a large engine, which is a 6.8-liter V12 producing 453 HP and 531 lb-ft of torque. In my opinion, it looks best in black. The Phantom is a favorite among rappers, and it is used in quite a few of their music videos. Here in the good ol' US of A, we prefer driving these beasts, while in countries like China and Russia, owners prefer to hire a chauffeur and have him/her drive them places. In the latter case, the owner would ride in the backseat and take advantage of the luxury amenities the Phantom offers, like reclining seats, TV/DVD, window curtains, in-seat tables to set things on, and umbrellas placed in the doors. Select examples may even have bulletproof windows. As you can tell, the Phantom is huge and weighs somewhere over two tons. In general, it is a very nice car and its interior quality cannot be beat.

McLaren MP4-12C (2012-14)

The McLaren MP4-12C was McLaren's first volume road car since their partnership with Mercedes-Benz ended (involving the SLR and in Formula 1). Up until the flagship P1 hypercar was unveiled last year, this was the only model in McLaren's lineup. McLaren is one of my favorite car brands, and the 12C is an outstanding car. Powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8, the 12C makes 616 HP and 443 ft-lbs. of torque. It will go from 0 to 60 in 3.1 seconds and its top speed is 205 mph. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed automatic gearbox. Apparently the MP4-12C will not be in production for much longer due to the arrival of the 650S. The 650S is technically a 12C with more power and the front fascia of the P1. As implied in its name, the 650S has a power output of 650 PS. It would've been nice if McLaren decided to produce the 12C alongside the 650S, however. Overall, the MP4-12C is an extraordinary automobile, just like every other McLaren ever built; also, I love the way the 12C looks, same goes with all other McLaren products.

Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4

I definitely had to create a post on the Lamborghini Aventador because I absolutely love it. If I started a collection of my own, this would be one of the first cars I would add to it. The Aventador is mid-engine, all-wheel-drive, and has a 6.5-liter V12 producing 690 horsepower and 509 lb-ft of torque. 0-60 mph happens in about 3 seconds and its top speed is 217 mph. The sole gearbox option is a 7-speed automatic. Its starting price is around $400k. The Lamborghini Aventador is gorgeous from every angle and looks good in any color. All of the examples above except for the last one, which I spotted through a dealer window in San Francisco in April, are modified in some way or form. The second one (in pink) is owned by singer and former "American Idol" judge Nicki Minaj. I dislike her as a person, her music sucks, and she has a terrible taste in automobiles, specifically the way she tricks them out. The worst part of her Lambo is the pink rims, which look completely disgusting. The rest of them have been modified correctly whether it is mechanically, cosmetically, or both. The Aventador is one of the few cars where I would be satisfied with either a coupe or convertible. In this car, I wouldn't really need to listen to music because the sound of its V12 engine is already music to my ears. The best colors for the Aventador include black, orange, and grey. It is one of, if not, the best Lamborghinis (and cars) ever built. I would also place this car in a time machine and transport it 50 years into the future. Finally, the Lamborghini Aventador would win in a direct comparison test against the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, but it would be difficult for me to decide a winner between it and the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, especially the Black Series model.

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

I think the F12 Berlinetta is one of the best Ferraris ever built, along with the F40, 599, 458, Enzo, and a few others. It is also the most powerful mainstream Ferrari ever built. The F12 is front-engine, rear-wheel drive, and has a 6.3-liter V12 churning out 731 HP and 508 lb-ft of torque. 0-60 mph is accomplished in 3.1 seconds and top speed is clocked at 211 mph. Also, it looks really good. The examples above are showcased with Forgiato rims, which are some of the ugliest I have ever seen. I prefer HRE, ADV.1, or Vorsteiner  rims because they look much better. Overall, the Ferrari F12 is on of my all-time favorite cars, but if I had to choose between this and the Lamborghini Aventador, I'd probably go with the Aventador. In the last picture, I did not intend for that model to be standing beside the white F12; I would've wanted her to move but I couldn't do anything about it.

2014 Shelby Mustangs

The 2014 Mustangs featured here are not available from the factory or sold at your average Ford dealer. These are available only from Shelby American, an independent company based in Las Vegas that specializes in tuning Fords. It was founded by the late great Carroll Shelby. The Shelby Mustangs featured in this post are listed in this particular order: GT/SC, GT350, and GT500 Super Snake. As you would expect, I am power-hungry when it comes to cars most of the time, so my favorite here would be the GT500 Super Snake, which my guess is that it has about 50 more horses than the standard 2014 Shelby GT500. I am aware that these may not be offered for much longer due to the new 2015 Mustang and upcoming 2016 Shelby GT350. As mentioned in an earlier post, the 2014 Shelby GT500 is my favorite Mustang ever produced. Also, Shelby American did a great job modifying these Mustangs shown above.
