Best of Porsche Club Cars & Coffee (August 2025)

A new month recently began, and that can only mean one thing: time for another edition of my local PCA (Porsche Club of America) Cars & Coffee! August 2025's Porsche Club Cars & Coffee featured one of the biggest turnouts of any car meet that I have ever been to at that location. It was on par with that of the PCA Cars & Coffee that took place two months ago, but this latest one appeared a tad larger. Included in this above-average turnout are many Porsches, exotics, and other enthusiast vehicles that I have seen at these meets before plus a few newcomers. The most notable newcomers to my local Porsche Club Cars & Coffee this month include the first 992.2 911 GT3 that I have ever seen in person, the first 992 911 Sport Classic that I have seen outside of my local Porsche dealership, the current Mercedes-AMG S63 E-Performance, a 991.2 911 GT3 RS example that I do not remember seeing up close before Saturday morning, and a different 991 911 GT3 RS example that I had not seen in at least a few years prior to this latest Porsche Club Cars & Coffee. In addition, I was able to at least acknowledge nearly everyone that I knew who was attending this latest cars and coffee while prioritizing taking photos of the cars I liked the most.

Overall, this month's edition of my local Porsche Club Cars & Coffee was a great show and one of the most memorable of these monthly meets to date. This compilation showcases the coolest and my favorite cars that appeared at August 2025's Porsche Club Cars & Coffee, which reflects the large selection this latest meet had to offer compared to most meets from previous months. Enjoy and stay tuned for content from this Saturday's monthly BMW CCA Cars & Coffee coming soon.

Porsche 911 GT3 (992.2)

The GT3 is one of the latest 992-generation Porsche 911 models to receive a mid-cycle refresh. This mid-cycle refresh was applied to the 911 GT3 starting for the 2025 model year, consisting of a redesigned front diffuser, spoiler lip, and headlamps, along with revised underbody air guides for improved downforce and aerodynamics, and mild suspension upgrades handed down from the GT3 RS. Power figures for the 992.2 GT3 remain the same as those of the 992.1 GT3: a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six with 502 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque that revs up to 9000 rpm and is paired to either a six-speed manual or seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox. The launch from zero to 60 mph in the 992.2 911 GT3 occurs in 3.3 seconds with the six-speed manual and 2.7 seconds with the seven-speed PDK dual-clutch, while its top speed is rated at 193-194 mph. Its interior is practically the same as that of the standard 911, except the GT3 adds a specific GT mode that places all key information on the displays surrounding the central tachometer. Also available on the newest 911 GT3 is the optional and renowned Weissach Package, which is highlighted by a greater use of CFRP, or Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic, throughout the vehicle.

Pricing for the 992.2 Porsche 911 GT3 starts at $224,495. The example pictured here is the first example of the latest version of the 911 GT3 that I have seen up close, which occurred at this month's local Porsche Club Cars & Coffee yesterday morning, which I will feature more from in my next post. I was especially intrigued by it since it is one of the most recent Porsche models to go on sale and hit showrooms. Most importantly, besides seeing one of these in person for the first time, the newest 911 GT3's relatively minor updates are said to give it a better driving experience over the 992.1 911 GT3. Overall, the Porsche 911 GT3 remains a fantastic sports car and track toy, and I enjoyed seeing the newest version of it up close for the first time this weekend.
